Kutaisi — Sataplia — Prometheus Cave
Trip Description
The journey begins with a sightseeing tour of Kutaisi, the former capital of the Imeretian Kingdom. Visit the UNESCO-listed Bagrati Cathedral (11th century) and the historic Gelati Monastery, founded by King David the Builder. After lunch in Kutaisi (paid by tourists), continue to the Sataplia Nature Reserve, featuring a karst cave and a glass panoramic viewpoint. The day ends with a visit to the spectacular Prometheus Cave near Tskhaltubo, known for its impressive halls, underground river, and atmospheric lighting.
