The journey to Kazbegi follows the scenic Aragvi River and the Zhinvali Reservoir, passing traditional mountain villages and the Ananuri Fortress (17th century) with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. En route, visit Gudauri, Georgia's famous ski resort, recognized by National Geographic as one of the world's top ski destinations. Continue to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), located on the banks of the Tergi River, and visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church (14th century), set at 2,170 meters with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek (5,033 m), steeped in ancient legend.
